​LOUISVILLE (KSNT) — An impressive debut on the national stage.Topeka-native and Highland Park alum Tre Richardson made his debut for the Cardinals on Sunday night when No. 24 Louisville took on No. 9 Ole Miss in the Music City Kickoff.Richardson picked up four receptions and 83 receiving yards and 30 rushing yards, with touchdowns both in the air and on the ground.His first score came just past the 11-minute mark in the third quarter, when he rushed for 30-yards to put the Cardinals on top, 13-10.With just 16 seconds remaining in the third, quarterback Lincoln Kienholz found Richardson for 62 yards to tie the game at 24-24.Ole Miss would win, 41-38.Richardson started his collegiate career at Hutchinson Community College, before transferring to Washburn for the 2024 season.
