MOORHEAD, MN (CANARIES) — The Sioux Falls Canaries are headed to the Miles Wolff Cup Playoffs for the fourth consecutive season and for the eighth time in franchise history. The Birds will open postseason play against West Division regular season champion Kansas City. The Canaries (50-49) will host the Monarchs (58-41) for Game 1 of the best-of-three series Wednesday night at 6:30pm before traveling to Kansas City for Game 2 Friday at 6:35pm. Game 3, if necessary, would be Saturday in Kansas City with a start time still to be determined. This marks the second time the two teams have met in the postseason, with Kansas City sweeping the Canaries two games to none in the 2023 West Division Series en route to a Miles Wolff Cup championship. The Monarchs won 11 of the 12 regular season meetings between the two teams, outscoring the Canaries 100-37.
