​GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The first episode of Local 5’s “Locker Room” aired live on Tuesday, kicking off the start to the 2026 NFL season. This week’s guest was former Green Bay Packers fullback Dexter McNabb, who played for the team during the 1992 and 1993 season. He then took a gap year and returned to the NFL in 1995 to play one season with the Philadelphia Eagles.

After his NFL career was over, McNabb returned to his alma mater, University of Florida, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sociology in 2003.In 2010, McNabb came back to Wisconsin, where he worked as an associate principal at Pulaski High School. He also worked as an administrator for at-risk students at West De Pere High School, where he also served as an assistant football coach and the head coach for the girls’ track and field team. Since 2023, McNabb has served as the principal of Green Bay West High School.
