​The Carolina Panthers are adjusting the depth of their edge rotation ahead of Sunday’s regular-season opener.As announced on Wednesday morning, the team is bringing back outside linebacker Jeremiah Moon—signing him to their practice squad.Moon (6-foot-5, 247 pounds) played his college ball at Florida—where he posted eight sacks, 14 tackles for a loss and four passes defensed in 48 games over six seasons.After his final year in college, Moon went undrafted—and first landed with the Baltimore Ravens on their practice squad for the 2022 season. He appeared in eight games the following year, spending most of his time on the field on special teams.Moon’s next stop in the NFL was with the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he put in 15 games over two seasons. Pittsburgh released him just prior to the start of the 2025 campaign, and he eventually landed with Carolina’s practice squad in October.
