​SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The Grape Creek Eagles were hoping to celebrate their first win under new head coach Trey Morgan in a non-district matchup against the Eastland Mavericks Friday night at Eagle Stadium.Unfortunately for the Eagles, however, they dropped to 0-3 after a 33-8 setback. Eastland improved to 1-2.Grape Creek will put Friday’s loss in the rear-view mirror and look ahead to next week’s matchup on the road against Colorado City.
