(WATE) — The Tennessee football team went on the road and defeated Georgia Tech 45-24 to stay unbeaten on the early season.It was the first Power Four matchup for Tennessee following their 56-9 opening week victory over FCS opponent Furman.Georgia Tech received the opening kickoff and Vols defense forced a quick three-and-out. On the ensuing punt, Qua Moss muffed the punted but was able to jump on top of its to avoid an early disaster.On the first play from scrimmage, Desean Bishop patiently waited behind his blockers before exploding down the field for a 33-yard run.

Cooper Ranvier’s first field goal as a Vol was good from 32 yards out to tie the game at 10-10.
