Nonetheless, sometimes that opportunity arises at other clubs first, as they go out on loan to find their feet.Just like every season, Manchester United have a substantial number of their youth products on loan at clubs across Europe.Jacob DevaneyThe Irish midfielder made a strong impression last season in Scotland at St Mirren.He returned to the Scottish Premiership this summer, but this year to play for Hibernian.Devaney played 67 minutes in Hibs’ disappointing home loss to ten-man Kilmarnock.The Cabbage disappointingly lost 0-1, and Devaney hardly had his best match in green. He did not make any key passes and kept hold of the ball on just 78% of his passes.He had one shot that was blocked by the defence, and he did not attempt any dribbles in the game.The youngster did contribute defensively, though, as he made three clearances and won two of his three tackles.Devaney was also impressive in the physical battle, winning six duels during the contest. He will next be in action this Saturday when Hibs host Aberdeen at Easter Road.Chido ObiThe Danish striker had a tough evening as he came off the bench in Willem II’s 1-5 loss to Ajax.He played the last 20 minutes of the match and did not really have a sniff at goal.Obi had zero shots on goal and had just four touches of the ball.He did make one key pass, even though he attempted just three in the match.The youngster did attempt one aerial battle but lost it against the Ajax defence.
