Wide Receiver is the toughest position to gauge week to week in fantasy football. There are 32 starting QBs every week, 32 RB1s, and 32 TE1s, and while there are 32 WR1s, you still have one or two other WRs on the field. The player pool is far greater, with 50-plus WRs to project. A ton goes into it: how they played the previous week, as well as who their upcoming opponent is…whether the game is home or away, and whether or not they traveled the week before, from, say, Australia. To give you an idea, 28 WRs scored a TD, with four scoring two. And some of the biggest WRs in the game were held out of the end zone, like Puka Nacua and Ja’Marr Chase. Chris Olave was also held out of the end zone, but he caught 10 passes for 182 yards. With that in mind, here are the wide receiver rankings this week.MORE: Fantasy Football quarterback rankings in Week 212. Mandatory Credit: Jim Dedmon-Imagn ImagesThe second half of these lists is always more difficult than the top, and the last two or three spots are really difficult. McMillan cracked the list this week, over names like Mike Evans and Ekeka Egbuka. While San Francisco and Tampa Bay have a ton of weapons, the Panthers do not, and rely more heavily on McMillan. He was targeted more than both Evans and Egbuka and is expected to be targeted all year. In week. 1, he caught five passes for 75 yards, and this week he’s heading to Atlanta to play the Falcons in a divisional matchup. The Panthers can’t afford to leave 0-2.11. Khalil Shakir-Bills:While Josh Allen has many targets, he does like to go with the guys he trusts…and he trusts Shakir. He’s now in his sixth season with Allen. And, in the last two seasons, he’s had over 70 receptions. Last week he caught four passes for 50 yds. This week, look for the Bills to light up the scoreboard, and Shakir will be the recipient of a nice piece of it.10. Cee Dee Lamb-Cowboys:Another season with question marks for Dallas. If they want to not start the season 0-2, Lamb will need to be more active than he was in week 1. He only caught five passes for 44 yds and a TD. They are at home, playing their second divisional game. While it’s hard to imagine Dallas starting the year winless after Week 2, it’s equally as hard to imagine the Commanders starting the year 0-2 either. This is an early “must-win” situation, and Lamb will take advantage of it.9. Ja’Marr Chase-Bengals:Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’marr Chase (1) reacts after the Bengals are forced to punt in the fourth quarter of the NFL Week 18 game between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cleveland Browns at Paycor Stadium in Downtown Cincinnati on Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026. The Browns kicked a last second field goal to win 20-18.It’s crazy that Chase is this low on this list. It’s also crazy
