​The New York Giants (1-0) will take on the Los Angeles Rams (0-1) on Monday Night Football at SoFi Stadium in their second game of the 2026 regular season.Opening the week, the Giants were listed as 7-point road underdogs, but that spread has worsened slightly with the Rams at -7.5 as of this writing.How does the Giants Wire staff see this Week 2 battle shaking out? Here’s a look at our picks and score predictions.Dan Benton: Rams 31, Giants 17I’m not ready to subscribe to the theory that the Giants will experience a miracle turnaround in Year 1 under John Harbaugh en route to the NFC East crown and playoffs. However, I am willing to entertain the idea that this latest “rebuild” may already be ahead of schedule. That will still come with hiccups, which I expect them to experience on Monday night in Los Angeles against a starving and angry Rams team that may have Aaron Donald back on the field. Add in the Giants’ ailing secondary, and it’s a recipe for disaster.John Fennelly: Rams 23, Giants 20Big Blue has a much better chance when it comes to punching above their weight these days, but to ask them to pull off an upset against the Rams in their home opener? I see the Giants beating the 7.5-point spread in a physical game.Tyler Henry: Rams 31, Giants 24The first game of the season can be a little flukey, especially if it takes place in Australia. Although I do think the Giants are for real after just one game, I don’t believe we got the real Rams in Week 1. After coming into the season with Super Bowl aspirations, I believe the Rams will come out with a sense of urgency in this one. They are playing at home where they were near perfect, and I think we will see a version of the Rams who are closer to the high-powered offense from 2025 where they put up a league-leading 30.5 points per game. I think the Giants’ secondary is going to struggle against the Rams’ passing attack, but I do think the Giants will put up some points. Ultimately, I think the Giants fall short in this one.Serena Burks: Giants 24, Rams 21Everyone expects the Giants to lose this game. The Rams were (and kind of still are) one of the favorites to make it to the Super Bowl this year, but the loss of Myles Garrett hurts. The Niners put up 174 rushing yards against the Rams, and while I don’t anticipate a repeat, I do think that Cam Skattebo and Jaxson Dart will be a problem for them.Defensively, the Giants have their work cut out for them. Matthew Stafford was benched in the fourth quarter of their blowout loss, and he definitely doesn’t want that to happen again. He will utilize whatever piece he can find to move the ball down the field and put points on the board. It’s not going to be a blowout; this is going to be a much closer game than the spread indicates, which is why picking a winner is tough.
