​Elena Rybakina may only just be getting started after her US Open victory.Rybakina won her third Grand Slam title at the US Open, beating Aryna Sabalenka in the final, who she also dethroned to become world number one.The Kazakhstani won her first Grand Slam at Wimbledon in 2022, and this year has added both of the hard court majors to her collection, with Rybakina now missing only Roland Garros to complete the Career Grand Slam.As Rybakina sets her sights on achieving the Career Grand Slam, the exact number of majors she will win in the next two years has now been predicted by Tennis Hall of Famer Steve Flink.Steve Flink backs Elena Rybakina to win three Grand Slams in the next two yearsLegendary tennis journalist Flink discussed Rybakina’sUS Open victory in the latest edition of the Tennis and Bagels Podcast, where he assessed her chances of winning more Grand Slams in the future.Flink suggested that Rybakina should have won more Wimbledon titles already, as he backed her to be able to compete for the title at all four Grand Slams.When making his prediction, Flink backed Rybakina to win at least three of the next eight Grand Slam tournaments over the next two years.“Hats off to her to win the two majors this year,” said Flink. “I agree with you, it is time that she got back and started winning more Wimbledons. There’s absolutely no reason she can’t do it. She can win more [US] Opens, she can win more Australians and then the question will be can she do it at Roland Garros. “I’m not convinced that she can’t by the way. Obviously it’s her worst surface, but I’m not convinced that she can’t, with some hard work and some good preparation and decent results along the clay court campaign, pull off the French some way along the way. But I am convinced she wins all of the others more.”Flink continued, “I’ll be really interested to see what we get out of her in ’27 and ’28, I think that’s going to tell us so much.
