Joey Logano had an answer for anyone who doubted him Saturday night at Bristol Motor Speedway.“For the haters, baby.”Logano delivered the line moments after delivering on the track, winning the Bass Pro Shops Night Race after a wild closing stretch in the third race of the 2026 NASCAR Chase.The Team Penske driver led 93 laps, won Stage 1 and ultimately held off Kyle Larson by 1.248 seconds to capture the victory. The No. 22 Ford was there all night.He won Stage 1, beating Larson to the line, with Hamlin third. Ross Chastain finished fourth, followed by Gibbs, Ryan Blaney, Austin Cindric, Hocevar, Brad Keselowski and Wallace.Blaney took control in Stage 2, winning the stage ahead of Gibbs and Logano. Berry and Bell rounded out the top five, while Wallace, Hocevar, Byron, Larson and Chris Buescher also collected stage points.That set up a final stage with several of the night’s strongest cars still positioned to fight for the win.Gibbs was very much among them.Driving the M&M’s tribute car honoring Kyle Busch, Gibbs led a race-high 120 laps and remained at the center of the battle late. But the closing portion of the race produced another shakeup, and Logano was ultimately the driver who capitalized.Ryan Blaney’s late wreck changes the fight at the frontBlaney looked like a legitimate threat to win after capturing Stage 2, but his race unraveled with 43 laps remaining.The No. 12 had just taken second place from Hocevar when Hocevar crossed underneath him. Blaney moved toward the bottom of the track, the cars made contact and Blaney spun hard into the outside wall.Blaney climbed from his damaged car shortly afterward. With only 43 laps remaining when the wreck occurred, there wasn’t enough time to repair the No. 12 and get it back into the race.Hocevar continued and remained in contention through the finish, eventually bringing the No. 77 Chevrolet home third.The incident removed one contender from the fight and became one of the defining moments of a frantic closing stretch at Bristol.Logano still had Larson to deal with.The Hendrick Motorsports driver closed out the night in second, but Logano kept the No. 5 behind him and crossed the line 1.248 seconds ahead.Joey Logano has the last word at BristolThere was plenty packed into 500 laps at Bristol.Gibbs led the most laps.
