A game which Alabama entered as a sizable favorite, Saturday’s showdown between the Crimson Tide and Florida State did not play out similar to how most expected. The Seminoles gave Alabama troubles throughout the contest, especially early on where the Crimson Tide trailed by multiple scores at one point in the first half. Alabama was able to erase that deficit with a big second quarter coming out of a weather delay, and carried over that success in the second half to eventually pick up a 50-36 win.Keelon Russell led the way with a four touchdown performance, while the Crimson Tide ground game rushed for 247 yards as a team with three different players finding the end zone. Alabama’s defense through struggled at times in this game, especially against the pass where the Seminoles had a big day through the air.
