The early indication is an MCL sprain, although the Giants have not officially confirmed the diagnosis pending MRI results. Harbaugh acknowledged that avoiding the devastating outcome was encouraging. GM Joe Schoen said he expected Dart to be okay.If Dart misses several weeks rather than the entire campaign, the Giants can approach September differently.
