CB Mansoor DelaneDelane was active for the Chiefs’ Sunday Night Football matchup but didn’t play. That was probably for the best after his injury last week, and he may be able to return against the Dolphins. Safety A.J. HaulcySpeaking of that Monday matchup, the Chiefs played the Colts, and this was a big game for A.J. Haulcy. He had a great hit in the game, but the struggles he showed against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1 showed up again. Haulcy was missing tackles consistently, and it took him off the field. The Texans in Week 3 will be yet another tough matchup for the Colts, and Haulcy will need to do better for this defense. WR Zavion ThomasAnother week with Thomas not getting into the offense and staying on special teams. For now, that’s the case, especially with Caleb Williams dealing with an injury.TE Bauer SharpLike Thomas, Sharp’s involvement in the offense is extremely limited, and the Bucs are using him as a blocker. With this team struggling at the start of the season, we could see Sharp’s snaps rise over time. WR Barion BrownAfter a disappointing Week 1, Brown had one of the plays of the game in Week 2. He wasn’t involved with the offense, but on special teams, Brown had a really great return right before halftime, leading to the Saints scoring a field goal. That return helped the Saints complete their comeback. In Week 3, expect another special teams day from Brown. LB Harold PerkinsIn an absolutely horrible Falcons game, Perkins still made plays and did well. Out of this entire LSU class, Perkins has been arguably the best of the bunch and is inching closer to having an even bigger role in the Falcons’ defense. Atlanta will be playing the Packers this week, and with their offensive struggles, Perkins could have another huge game.
