(WIVB) — Western New York’s most storied football rivalry headlines a Week 4 slate that also includes some prime-time matchups between sectional title contenders, and the first high school contest to be streamed live on the WIVB+ channel. Here are some of the games we’re watching this weekend.Bennett (1-2) vs. Health Sciences (2-1)7 p.m. Friday at Coyer FieldTwo of the city’s best line up under the lights on the campus at Buffalo State. In its first season competing in the Class AA division, Health Sciences is the top-ranked public large school in WNY at No. 3, coming off a big win against Lancaster. Reigning sectional champion Bennett is No. 5 with losses against challenging non-league opponents and a convincing win over Jamestown.West Seneca East (3-0) vs. McKinley (3-0)7 p.m. Friday at All-High StadiumIn what could be another sectional title game preview, the top-ranked small schools battle for first place in the Class B-1 division. Among eight unbeaten teams remaining in Section VI after three weeks, these opponents have established the two largest victory margins, with West Seneca East outscoring opponents by 36 per game, and McKinley winning by an average of 32 points. St. Francis (3-0) at Cardinal-Mooney(3-2)7 p.m. FridayThe No. 1 ranked team in WNY continues its formidable non-league slate with a trip to Youngstown, Ohio in a game that will be streamed live on WIVB+. With a half dozen Division I recruits on its roster, St. Francis won its first Monsignor Martin game against Bishop Timon-St. Jude 41-0 last week and returns home to take on Canisius in a championship game rematch next Saturday. Canisius (1-2) at St. Joe’s (1-2)2 p.m. SaturdayThe records can usually be thrown out the window for this rivalry game, and that’s certainly the case this year with both teams losing twice against powerhouse programs from outside the area. Canisius is ranked No. 2 in WNY and St. Joe’s is No. 10. Canisius has won 23 of the past 24 meetings to take a 52-48-3 lead in a series goes back to 1921.
