​An intriguing athlete prospect from Illinois is set to visit Michigan State on Saturday for the Spartans’ home game against Nebraska.Javonte Williams of Wheaton, Ill. announced on Friday that he’ll be visiting Michigan State this upcoming weekend. According to a social media post from Williams, he will be visiting the Spartans for their home game against the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Saturday.Williams is listed as an athlete prospect in the 2028 class, and plays for St. Francis High School. He is listed at 5-foot-11 and 165 pounds, according to 247Sports.Williams is currently unranked and unrated by both 247Sports and Rivals at the time of this post.Michigan State football has not yet extended an offer to Williams, but he does hold a handful of offers from other FBS schools. According to a pair of recruiting services, Williams has offers from Pittsburgh, Northern Illinois, Miami (OH) and Marshall. Nebraska has also shown interest in him as well.Williams is one of many prospects that’ll be in attendance for the Spartans’ home game against Nebraska this weekend.
