​WATERVLIET — Constantine was supposed to play at South Haven on Friday night.But the game was impacted by the lack of electricity as a local power station went down. Constantine does a good enough job hiding the football as it is with their running backs coming out of the backfield, trying to tackle them would be harder without any lights.So the game was moved to Saturday, at a different venue. Constantine still had no problems as they beat South Haven 50-0 at Watervliet.The Falcons scored in all four quarters of the game. In the second, Cooper McGee scored on a 3-yard run. Jancasz added a 32-yard scamper for a score while Brody Bienz scored for the Falcons as well on a 3-yard run.Godfrey booted the extra points through on four of those TDs, Brody Bienz ran in a conversion attempt for two points as well. Constantine led 36-0 at the half.In the third, Coy Kniffen got on the scoreboard. He ended up in the end zone on a 36-yard run for the Falcons.The fourth quarter saw Brennan Cropsey score, his was a 3-yard run. Godfrey kicked the extra points through the uprights on both second half scoring drives.In Constantine fashion, the Falcons piled up 378 total yards, including 312 on the ground. Defensively, the Falcons held South Haven to only 70 yards of total offense. Constantine registered 19 first downs in the game and the defense forced three turnovers as well.Braden Bienz completed all three of his pass attempts for 66 yards. They went to McGee twice for 41 and once to Chase Manes on a 25-yard pass.Jancasz led the offense with 80 yards rushing and two scores, Cropsey delivered 52 yards and a TD. Kniffen ran for 48 and a score, Brody Bienz totaled 44 yards and a score. Defensively, Isaiah Peters was in on six stops. Brody Bienz recovered two fumbles, Jake Mack recovered a fumble as well.
