In a video posted by PHLY Sports’ EJ Smith, Sirianni explained his decision.“You think about maybe calling a timeout in a situation like that. Now, we proved that we needed that timeout later in the half to get more in the drive and score,” said the 45-year-old tactician, referring to Hurts’ one-yard punch to the end zone.“Whereas if you call a timeout, I had no idea what’s going on (in the medical tent) and when he’s going to come out, or if he’s coming out after going in and getting evaluated. You just don’t know in those situations.
