(Photo by Albert Perez/Getty Images) | Getty Images Brazil have confirmed Raphinha will miss their next friendly against India after sustaining a thigh injury in the win over Australia.Raphinha was taken off at half-time due to feeling some discomfort, sending alarm bells ringing at Barcelona and raising fears he could be set for a spell on the sidelines.The CBF has now confirmed that Raphinha has been dropped from the squad to face India after undergoing medical tests.The statement reads: “An imaging exam on the striker revealed a small muscle edema in the posterior region of his right thigh.”Raphinha is now expected to head back to Barcelona for further tests to confirm the diagnosis and to undergo treatment. The hope is that he will not miss any further game time and that his exclusion from the India game is purely as a precaution.Barcelona’s next game is against Getafe in La Liga on October 10th.
