They have reportedly added veteran center Tony Bradley on an Exhibit 9 contract. The move, reported by NBA insider Brett Siegel, gives New York another experienced big man to compete for a roster spot as training camp approaches.Robinson departed for the Boston Celtics on a three-year, $47.4 million deal after helping the Knicks win the 2026 NBA championship. Karl-Anthony Towns and newly signed Andre Drummond are expected to handle the primary center minutes. As such, Bradley joins Drew Eubanks and James Wiseman in the competition for additional frontcourt depth. At 6-foot-10, Bradley brings experience from stops with the Utah Jazz, Philadelphia 76ers, Chicago Bulls, Indiana Pacers, and Atlanta Hawks.An Exhibit 9 contract gives New York flexibility while providing another physical rebounder and interior defender for preseason competition. Bradley’s presence could become particularly useful if the Knicks need additional size during the long regular season. He had spent all eight seasons of his career with the Knicks before joining Boston. He developed into one of the NBA’s premier offensive rebounders and rim protectors. Robinson earned All-Rookie Second Team honors in 2019 before shooting a record 74.2% from the field the following season. He finished his Knicks tenure as a key piece of the championship roster.
