PITTSBURGH (WKBN) – NFL Insider Tom Pelissero from The Ringer is reporting that the Pittsburgh Steelers have traded cornerback Joey Porter Jr. to the Dallas Cowboys.Pittsburgh’s return in the trade is not yet being reported.In the midst of a contract dispute, Porter has not played for Pittsburgh this season.He was ruled out of Thursday night’s game in Cleveland with a back injury.In 14 games last season, Porter piled up 52 total tackles, 14 passes defensed, with one sack and one interception.In three seasons in Pittsburgh, Porter has amassed 157 total tackles, with 31 passes defensed, one sack and three interceptions in 47 games.Porter was originally selected by Pittsburgh in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft out of Penn State.Copyright 2026 Nexstar Media, Inc.
