​Large portions of the country and the college football schedule are flirting with thunderstorms this weekend. Arkansas and Texas A&M are part of that group. However, forecasts are calling for the worst of the weather in College Station, Texas to pass prior to kickoff between the Razorbacks (2-2, 0-1 SEC) and Aggies (2-2, 0-2). A flood watch in the town is set to expire at 7 p.m. Friday, October 2. According to the National Weather Service, there is roughly a 50% chance of precipitation from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on gameday. Scattered storms and showers are expected to linger around Kyle Field throughout the afternoon and early evening, with the chance for precipitation drastically reducing at around 9 p.m.Wind is not expected to rise above 10 mph during the game. The high on Saturday is 84, but temperatures are expected to drop into the low 70s once the late-afternoon storms pass near game time.
