GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) — Following a devastating home opener loss to the Atlanta Falcons, the Green Bay Packers have announced four players will be taking the bench this Sunday, with two more questionable to play. According to a press release, the following players have been ruled out for Sunday’s road game against Tampa Bay: Aaron Banks (knee/toe) Jacobs Monk (quadricep)Warren Brinson (calf/groin)Anthony Campbell (ankle)
Details of deadly Deckner Avenue shooting released, 16-year-old officially charged Banks and Monk serve the team as guards, with Brinson and Campbell as defensive linemen. Banks didn’t play the season-opener against Minnesota due to his knee injury, and injured his toe after playing in the Packers’ subsequent game against the Jets. Head Coach Matt LaFleur revealed Brinson will miss a “significant amount of time” after he injured his groin during this Wednesday’s practice. “All he did was slip, and injuries occur, and a lot of times it’s non-contact,” LaFleur said. The following two players were listed as questionable in the release:Edgerrin Cooper (shoulder/concussion)G Jager Burton (groin)Cooper plays linebacker, and Burton plays center/guard.
