Calling it a chaotic senior season for Boyle County (KY) four-star tight end Seneca Driver would be an understatement.A few weeks ago, the Oklahoma commit was ejected from a game and forced to sit out the following week after two unsportsmanlike penalties against Lexington Catholic. Last week, Driver went viral again with a tackle that looked more like WWE than what you see on a football field. On Friday night, Driver once again stole headlines, but this time for his play on the field.Boyle County rolled to a 42-13 road win at St. Xavier (KY), with Driver as the main force in the blowout. He accounted for four of the Wildcats’ six touchdowns and did so in almost every way possible.Driver scored Boyle County’s first touchdown on an 84-yard reception and scored their final touchdown on a 16-yard reception. However, he also lined up at quarterback, scored on a four-yard rush in the fourth quarter, and on the drive before that, threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Maddox Hager.Entering the night, Driver had already accounted for seven touchdowns on the season and solidified his case in the state’s loaded Mr. Football race. The win moves Boyle County to 5-1 as they look to repeat as the Class 4A state champions. Driver played a pivotal role in their run to the title last season, catching 49 passes for 875 yards and 11 touchdowns.Driver announced his commitment to Oklahoma on March 7, choosing the Sooners over Kentucky, Notre Dame, and numerous other Power Four programs. He’s ranked as the No. 37 overall prospect in the 2027 USA TODAY Sports composite ranking as well as the No. 3 tight end prospect and top player out of Kentucky.Follow Sports Reporter Joe Spears on X at @joe_spears7 or via email: JSpears@usatodayco.com.
