New England Patriots offensive tackle Will Campbell has continued to work on his craft during the break before the start of training camp. More importantly, the second-year lineman is putting in work with some of the best players in the NFL.
Multiple social media posts showed the Patriots’ left tackle working out in Oklahoma, alongside Philadelphia Eagles tackle Lane Johnson (two-time First-Team All-Pro), Tampa Bay Buccaneers tackle Tristan Wirfs (two-time First-Team All-Pro), Buffalo Bills tackle Dion Dawkins (five-time Pro Bowler), Kansas City Chiefs tackle Creed Humphrey (two-time First-Team All-Pro) and others in preparation for the 2026 season.

Campbell, a first-round draft pick, had a strong rookie season until he went down with an MCL injury late in the year. He returned in time for the playoffs, but he looked nothing like the same player when coming off an injury against better competition
There’s more competition in the offensive tackle room for Campbell this year.
The Patriots used a first-round draft pick on rookie Caleb Lomu, who has more of the prototypical size for a left tackle than Campbell. They also drafted Texas A&M’s former behemoth Dametrious Crownover in the sixth round.
If anything, the presence of those two linemen should light a fire under Campbell to turn things around after an ugly run in the postseason. At the very least, he should be looking to silence critics constantly screaming from the sidelines that he would make a better guard than tackle.
