In Weeks 2 and 3, the Silver & Black topped both the Los Angeles Chargers (26-14) and New Orleans Saints (35-27), respectively, in impressive outings that showcased complementary football from Klint Kubiak’s squad. After a tough loss to AFC West rival Kansas City Chiefs (30-27) this past Sunday within the confines of Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, the Raiders are again away from home with a Week 5 tilt at the New England Patriots (2-2). Without question, Raider Nation is eager for a Raider rebound against the Pats. “Just focusing on the first quarter of the season, what we’ve done well, what we need to improve on, and knowing that our opponents are working on our weaknesses all the time,” Kubiak responded when asked what’s his message to the team coming off a loss. “So, there’s so many little things on each side of the ball that that we’re keying on, and we’re trying to be very intentional about improving.”New England was quite intentional last Sunday when the team handed the AFC East favorite Buffalo Bills a sobering 29-26 loss. Heading into that clash of then AFC West unbeatens, Las Vegas paced the league (and is still the leader) in forcing turnovers with nine total. The high mark so far was four against the Saints (with three coming against the Bolts and two against the Dolphins). The host Patriots are tied for the most giveaways this season at 10 (with the Chargers) and if there’s a team ripe for the pickings, it’s New England. Las Vegas needs to return to either jarring the ball loose or picking it off against a team that seemingly can’t protect the football. With Leonard deploying an attacking and fast defense, the Raiders should be able to accomplish this, especially considering the main culprit for the Patriots turnovers is quarterback Drake Maye. The third-year signal caller has seven interceptions and two fumbles lost through four games which should have middle linebacker Nakobe Dean (team-leading three forced fumbles an 32 total tackles, along with 1.5 sacks), safety Jeremy Chinn (two forced fumbles), edge rusher Malcolm Koonce (two for
