Top 2026 signee dismissed from FSU

Cornerback Chuck Kennon was the top 2026 signee for the Florida State Seminoles. He has yet to play a meaningful snap as a true freshman, and now he never will, per Chris Nee of Noles247. He has been removed from the team due to “conduct detrimental to the team.”A former five-star recruit who dropped to a high four-star who committed last July, Kennon was looked at as a building block for the future for FSU after choosing over the Miami Hurricanes, Florida Gators, and Georgia Bulldogs. He was even named an early impact player last December. Unfortunately, his time with the Seminoles is over before it even started.Going forward, Florida State has to hope that guys like wide receiver Jasen Lopez, defensive lineman Franklin Whitley, linebacker Izayia Williams, and others can provide something for the program as the remaining top prospects from the 2026 cycle. This is just another blow to what’s been a frustrating season for the Seminoles.Follow us @FSUWire on X and like our page on Facebook to follow ongoing coverage of Florida State news, notes, and opinions.
