Two returns and two doubts for Sunderland’s Europa League clashRegis Le Bris has confirmed Brian Brobbey and Habib Diarra have travelled with the Sunderland squad ahead of their Europa League clash with Torreense. Both players are set to be involved in the squad following their respective injuries, although Le Bris stressed Sunderland will continue to manage their returns carefully.“Brian travelled with the squad, like Habib as well, so they will be involved,” he said.“But we need to make sure that the process is respected to make sure that they will be available for the season.”There are still doubts over Thomas Meunier, who picked up an issue in Sunderland’s defeat to Brighton..“Thomas from the last game, so we have to wait and see,” Le Bris said.“It’s not a major injury, we’ll assess it day by day, and we have one or two players like this so we’ll see step by step.”Wilson Isidor is another player who will need to be assessed after suffering a knock..“We’ll see for Wilson because he had a knock during the game against Brighton so he needs to be reassessed,” Le Bris added.
