However, a reunion is not guaranteed, as the veteran remains free to explore other opportunities.Seattle has already moved Diggs between its practice squad and active roster this season. He made his first regular-season appearance for the team against the Los Angeles Chargers, playing nine defensive snaps before being promoted to the 53-man roster ahead of the San Francisco 49ers game. The latest move comes as the Seahawks look to strengthen their offensive line. Bradford has been sidelined with knee and hip injuries and has missed the team’s last five games. The fourth-year guard has started 39 of his 43 regular-season appearances since being drafted in 2023.His return would give Seattle another experienced option as they attempt to improve their form after consecutive defeats to the 49ers and Denver Broncos.Diggs, meanwhile, has struggled to recapture the form that made him one of the NFL’s standout cornerbacks earlier in his career. The former Dallas second-round pick recorded 11 interceptions in 2021, leading the league and earning first-team All-Pro honours. He also made the Pro Bowl in 2022, but injuries have disrupted his career since then.A torn ACL in 2023 was followed by further setbacks, and the Cowboys released him late in the 2025 season. He subsequently joined Green Bay before landing in Seattle.Diggs has seen limited defensive action with the Seahawks, making his latest release another uncertain moment in his career. Seattle could still retain him as depth on the practice squad, but he will need to agree to another deal if the team makes that move. For now, the Seahawks have created roster space ahead of the Chiefs game, while Diggs waits to discover where his next opportunity will come.Read more:Shedeur Sanders faces Browns demotion threat as Dillon Gabriel gets second-team repsPackers get encouraging Brandon Cisse update ahead of crucial Lions showdownFour-time Pro Bowler wants New York Giants to get Derrick Henry like talent to the roster
