On several occasions during the Timberwolves’ blowout home opener win over the Raptors on Sunday night, Anthony Edwards was seen wincing and favoring his right knee. Even as he scored a game-high 26 points on good efficiency and played into the fourth quarter, it was clear that the knee is still causing him some discomfort at times.Afterwards, Edwards did not speak to the media in the locker room because he was getting treatment, per Jon Krawczynski. The Wolves then hustled to catch a plane to Cleveland, where they’ll take on the Cavaliers tonight on the second half of a back-to-back. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Edwards has been officially listed as questionable to play on Monday night due to “right knee injury maintenance.”Minnesota @Timberwolves Status Report in advance of tonight’s game at Cleveland Cavaliers:QUESTIONABLE Edwards- Right Knee Injury Maintenance OUT DiVincenzo- Right Achilles Tendon Repair— Timberwolves PR (@Twolves_PR) October 26, 2026
