​Four-star prospect Jakyi Miles, a Phoenix native, tells Rivals he has committed to Arizona State and reclassified into the 2027 class.The 6-foot-3 point guard out of Compass Prep (AZ) is ranked as the No. 27 overall recruit in the 2028 class, the No. 5 point guard, and the No. 2 player in Arizona, according to the Rivals Industry Rankings, an average of all three major recruiting media companies (Rivals, ESPN, 247Sports). His ranking will be re-evaluated following his move into the 2027 class.Miles chose the Sun Devils over a host of other offers, including Kansas, USC, Texas, Texas Tech, NC State, Baylor, and more.He becomes Randy Bennett’s third commitment in the 2027 class, joining four-star small forward Howard Williams (No. 50 nationally) and four-star power forward Carson Crawford (No. 54 nationally).Miles on his commitment to ASU and decision to reclassifyJakyi Miles discussed his decision to choose the Sun Devils and why he ultimately opted to reclassify.“I chose Arizona State University because of the consistency with the coaches and just being home was a no brainer.
