El Paso’s Alejandro Zendejas made his 2026 FIFA World Cup debut for the United States.
Zendejas, who plays forward, entered the match at 76:11 in a Group D match vs. Turkey on Thursday, June 25, in Inglewood, Calif.
Zendejas graced the fields of Tippin Elementary and Hornedo Middle School before he was recruited to the Dallas FC youth academy at the age of 13.
Zendejas and fellow El Pasoan Ricardo Pepi are part of the USMNT’s 26-man roster.
