Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman George Karlaftis spoke with reporters after the Week 7 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. He discussed the team’s frustration at being unable to sack quarterback Sam Darnold.”I know the guys in the locker room, so it’s definitely humbling. We’ll see how we respond,” said Karlaftis. “It doesn’t change the confidence I have in anybody in this locker room. Like I said before, it’s about how you respond at the end of the day, so you can use it as motivation, that’s for sure.”The Seahawks went 11-of-16 on third-down attempts throughout Sunday’s game, including five on 3rd-and-9 or longer. Seattle controlled the ball for nearly 36 minutes, limiting the Chiefs’ possessions. On the other side of the ball, the Seahawks’ defense pressured the Chiefs 53% of the time. That is the 5th-highest pressure rate Patrick Mahomes has ever faced in his career. This article originally appeared on Chiefs Wire: George Karlaftis on the Chiefs being unable to secure a sack in Week 7
