He protected the ball, turned past opponents, drew fouls, found a pass, or advanced on his own,” the Frenchman added.Henry on Real Madrid, Mbappe and YamalHenry was equally impressed by Real Madrid’s collective showing, suggesting it was the best he had seen from Mourinho’s side all season.Henry believes Mbappe and Yamal will develop a great rivalry. (Photo by Alex Pantling/Getty Images)He praised their defensive organisation and their threat in transition, noting: “They were very difficult to beat and were solid on the counter-attack.”Looking ahead, the former Arsenal striker believes the fixture now has two protagonists ready to define its next era. In Mbappe and Lamine Yamal, Henry sees echoes of the great Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo duels that once lit up the Clasico.“Yamal and Kylian will have a very long rivalry in La Liga and perhaps they will also compete to win the Ballon d’Or,” he stated.Henry had earlier had hit back at his critics, who questioned his decision to ask Yamal about the Ballon d’Or during the gala as well as his open support for Mbappe.
