Regardless, there’s no debate that trading Jones could have some benefits. Reports have continued to indicate there’s little chance it’ll happen because Kyle Shanahan really likes him as a player, and he understands that if Brock Purdy gets injured, he wants a guy he can trust.Despite that reality, The Athletic once again raised him as a potential option, with the Minnesota Vikings as the team that could benefit from trading for him.“This one is a stretch, but bear with me.
