The top three seeds already are locked into the finals: Virginia, Tennessee and NC State posted the top scoring numbers during the regular season, which saw each of the 12 CSL teams swim in a pair of four-team matches. The final team set to join them and race for a championship will emerge from the wild card group of Indiana, Cal, Stanford and Louisville, who finished fourth through seventh in the standings. Virginia figures to be the team to beat, with the likes of Olympians Claire Curzan and Katie Grimes leading the six-time defending NCAA women’s champions so far in CSL action, which features women’s and men’s races.
