A.J. Epenesa ‘happy that I’m not a Brown’ after physical issues with Cleveland

   ​The Browns and free agent defensive end A.J. Epenesa thought they had a deal done back in March. However, a week later the deal was terminated by the Browns due to concerns about his physical, sources told the Beacon Journal.The 27-year-old lineman eventually signed with the Philadelphia Eagles. He was asked about what happened at Eagles training camp by Philadelphia reporters on Aug. 4.”Cleveland, you know, it was a weird situation, but I don’t necessarily want to go back and talk on that in just a weird sense,” Epenesa said. “I’ll just leave that in the past, and just be happy that I’m not a Brown, and that I am an Eagle.”Epenesa has played in 91 career regular-season games and 14 more playoff games with the Buffalo Bills. He had 19 regular-season starts and three playoff starts.
