AC Milan Women officially kicked off their 2026/27 campaign today, Friday 10 July, marking the start of a new chapter for Suzanne Bakker’s side. Now entering their third consecutive season under the Dutch coach, the Rossonere returned to training in preparation for a busy schedule that will begin in late August. The Serie A Women’s Cup opener is set for the weekend of 22-23 August, when Milan will take on Como Women as they begin their assault on multiple competitions.
The squad has been strengthened recently with two new arrivals: Norway’s Sara Kanutte and Spain’s Nerea Nevado, the first signings ahead of a season that promises to be full of challenges across several fronts. In addition to these fresh faces, the team is focused on building cohesion and fitness as they gear up for a demanding campaign.
From 27 to 31 July, AC Milan Women will host a preseason training camp in Belluno. This camp is made possible through a partnership between AC Milan and Clivet, the club’s Official Air Conditioning and Air Quality Partner, with support from Confindustria Belluno Dolomiti. On-pitch sessions will be held at the Stadio Umberto Orzes in Ponte nelle Alpi, and one training session will be open to supporters. Gym work will take place in Belluno, with Clivet coordinating a series of community initiatives designed to strengthen ties with the local community and grassroots sports clubs.
At the conclusion of the training camp, the Rossonere will return to Milan to continue preparations ahead of their Serie A Women’s Cup opener. The early rounds will feature matches against newly promoted Como 1907 and Juventus, who won the inaugural edition of the tournament. In the meantime, fans can look forward to the launch of the new AC Milan 2026/27 Home Kit, available for supporters eager to show their pride this season.
