Six days afterwards, Thomas said she had been receiving death threats for the foul, which was ultimately a “complete accident.”“A lot of us, myself included, didn’t even know the play took place until after the game. Now we’re being painted as thugs. There’s death threats out on us,” Thomas told reporters, per a clip on X. “It’s really unacceptable.
