Sikandar Raza cleared it with the last ball of Zimbabwe’s reply, his ninth six, and still finished 19 runs short.Afghanistan had been 38 for 5 when Azmatullah Omarzai and Ijaz Ahmad Ahmadzai came together, and the pair added 142, the biggest stand for the sixth wicket or lower in T20Is.Omarzai went on to 116 off 50 balls with twelve sixes, before Rashid Khan hit three successive sixes in the final over to make it 221 for 7.Rashid also became the first bowler to reach 200 men’s T20I wickets. Raza’s unbeaten 106 off 56 balls, at 40, made him the oldest man to score a T20I hundred. Afghanistan and Zimbabwe meet again at Sharjah on Sunday at 8pm IST, with the series won 2-0 and Zimbabwe’s batters looking for support beyond Raza.Afghanistan vs Zimbabwe prediction: Who will win?Afghanistan should complete the sweep, and the reason has less to do with Omarzai’s fireworks than with how this side survives when things go wrong. They lost four wickets for fewer than 20 runs on Thursday and still won comfortably, which says plenty about the depth and nerve in their dressing room. Zimbabwe’s problem is structural. Evans and Matigimu took early wickets and then bled runs when it mattered, and a side with only one proven big hitter cannot keep up with side that has some serious batters. The Cricket News Prediction: Afghanistan to win Afghanistan vs Zimbabwe predicted lineups, team news for 3rd T20IAfghanistan predicted lineup for ZimbabweRahmanullah Gurbaz (wk), Ibrahim Zadran (c), Mohammad Akram, Sediqullah Atal, Shahidullah Kamal, Azmatullah Omarzai, Ijaz Ahmad Ahmadzai, Rashid Khan, Fareed Ahmad, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Abdollah AhmadzaiZimbabwe predicted lineup for AfghanistanBrian Bennett, Innocent Kaia, Sikandar Raza (c), Ryan Burl, Tadiwanashe Marumani (wk), Wessly Madhevere, Tafadzwa Tsiga, Brad Evans, Kundai Matigimu, Ernest Masuku, Vincent MasekesaAlso read: Live Ball-by-Ball CommentaryAfghanistan vs Zimbabwe pitch report, 3rd T20I, SharjahStatDetailTotal matches77Matches won batting first46Matches won bowling first31Average 1st innings score146Average 2nd innings score124Highest total recorded221/7 (20 overs) by AFG vs ZIMLowest total recorded38/10 (10.4 overs) by HKC vs PAKHighest score chased206/8 (19.5 overs) by UAE vs BANLowest score defended119/7 (20 overs) by BANW vs SCOWWho do you think will win this match?
