The fourth major of the year wraps up on Sunday in the scenic town of Évian-les-Bains, France, delivering plenty of drama even without world No. 1 Nelly Korda in the field. The Amundi Evian Championship has been anything but quiet, with Haeran Ryu chasing her second consecutive major title after her Hazeltine triumph last month, and she shattered women’s major championship records by posting the lowest round in the history of women’s majors on Saturday.
Aki Iwai stood up to the challenge for much of the third round, staying within reach of Ryu during the opening 15 holes before cooling off and ending the day three shots behind the leader after 54 holes. Golf Channel’s live coverage will resume at 4 a.m. ET, continuing a schedule packed with early-morning tee times for viewers eager to catch every stroke.
