The Arizona Cardinals will report to training camp on July 22 and begin the long process of preparing for the regular season, including finalizing the roster and sorting out starting jobs and roles across the team. In the lead-up to camp, we will review every player on the offseason roster, examining their background, contract status, performance from 2025, the questions they face, and their roster outlook.
Here is Ka’ena De Cambra. De Cambra is a rookie who went undrafted out of Arizona and signed with the Cardinals. He played four seasons at Hawaii before transferring to Arizona in 2025, where he started all 13 games at center. During his four seasons at Hawaii, he started at every position along the offensive line—12 games at left tackle, nine at right guard, and two at right tackle—and earned All-Mountain West honorable mention in 2024.
De Cambra signed a three-year contract worth just over $3.1 million. His deal included a $5,000 signing bonus, and none of his salary is guaranteed. If he makes the roster, he will earn $885,000 in salary for 2025 and his cap hit will be just under $887,000. Given the absence of guarantees in his 2026 salary, De Cambra appears to be a longer-shot candidate to secure a spot on the team, suggesting the Cardinals were not prepared to commit a guaranteed year to him at this stage.
