The Arizona Cardinals report to training camp on July 22 and begin the process of preparing for the regular season, forming the roster and determining starting jobs and roles on the team.Leading up to the start of camp, we will take a look at every player on the offseason roster, their background, their contract, their play in 2025, questions they face and their roster outlook.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementHere is offensive lineman Matt Pryor.Pryor is entering his ninth NFL season and first with the Cardinals. He was drafted in the sixth round in 2018 by the Philadelphia Eagles. He spent three seasons with the Eagles, then two with the Indianapolis Colts, and spent a season each since then with the San Francisco 49ers, Chicago Bears and Eagles again. He has appeared in 109 games, starting 40 at guard and tackle. He was the Bears’ starting right guard in 2024.In 2025 with the Eagles, he played in all 17 games, starting once. He logged 122 offensive snaps and 70 on special teams.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementPryor signed a one-year deal worth almost $1.5 million. He received a signing bonus of $187,500 and is scheduled to make a non-guaranteed $1.3 million in salary. It is a qualifying veteran contract, so his cap hit would be $1.26 million, reduced from the almost $1.5 million it would normally be.When he was signed, some viewed the move as the answer for one of their starting jobs, either at right guard or right tackle. His experience and versatility are intriguing, but he is far from a lock to make the roster. He is, at best, on the roster bubble and is closer to a long shot to make the team.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementGet more Cardinals and NFL coverage from Cards Wire’s Jess Root and others by listening to the latest on the Rise Up, See Red podcast.
