He was drafted in the fourth round in 2024 by the Cardinals out of Texas Tech.After playing every game as a rookie with two starts, in 2025, he saw his role increase. He missed five games with an ankle injury, appearing in 12 games, starting four. He had 59 total tackles, including three on special teams, two interceptions and six pass breakups. Sadly, after he picked off one pass against the Tennessee Titans in Week 5, he fumbled ball and it was recovered in the end zone for a touchdown by Titans receiver Tyler Lockett.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementTaylor-Demerson is in Year 3 of his four-year, $4.9 million contract. He will earn nearly $1.1 million in salary and his contract will count almost $1.3 million against the salary cap.With Jalen Thompson leaving in free agency, Taylor-Demerson is basically a lock for the roster and is in line to be an every-down player instead of a package player like he was last season.
