​Arkansas football has its own share of problems. The Razorbacks have a lot to clean up on offense. They face major questions at quarterback, offensive line, and wide receiver after one game this season. As urgent as all of those problems are, the Razorbacks’ opponents will have something to say about the outcome of the 11 remaining games on the schedule. This includes the Tulsa Golden Hurricane.When many of us looked at the 2026 Arkansas football schedule, we thought Tulsa would be a win for the Hogs on September 26. Unfortunately, we might have to revise that forecast. Underdog Dynasty wrote about Tulsa’s convincing 24-10 upset win over Oklahoma State from Saturday. Tulsa was a +360 moneyline underdog and defeated -550 favorite OSU. Tulsa might be better than we thought:”The Golden Hurricane embraced their homefield advantage and stunned the rebuilt Cowboys, 24-10, in wire-to-wire fashion,” UD’s Steve Helwick wrote. “Tulsa defeated Oklahoma State in consecutive years for the first time since 1951-52 after spending the past 50 years as the Cowboys’ punching bag. Despite all the offensive transfer portal talent Oklahoma State added to its roster, Tulsa held the Cowboys to a lower scoring output in this year’s matchup than it did in last year’s. The upset was defined by Tulsa’s defense which commandingly won the turnover battle, 4-0. But the Golden Hurricane didn’t just rely on turnovers as a crutch — they recorded stops in other ways too.”Tulsa set the tone for the rest of the game on Oklahoma State’s opening possession. Quarterback Drew Mestemaker, who led the FBS in passing last season, quickly guided the Cowboys down the field.
