Atlético renews GPTW certification for second consecutive yearGalo’s football corporation (SAF) has earned Great Place to Work (GPTW) certification for the second consecutive year, recognizing organizations that offer an outstanding workplace environment. In this year’s assessment, Atlético achieved an employee trust score of 77%.Employee participation in the workplace survey also grew significantly. Participation rose from 80% in 2025 to 90% this year, making the internal assessment more representative. With its certification renewed, Atlético remains among a select group of companies recognized by GPTW in Minas Gerais. When the Club first earned the seal in 2025, fewer than 300 companies in the state held the certification. At that time, 3,510 Brazilian companies had already received the recognition.GPTW certification is based on employees’ perceptions of their workplace, measured through the Trust Index®, a methodology that evaluates aspects such as trust, respect, credibility, pride, and workplace relationships.“It is a source of pride to be part of a team like this, and a tremendous responsibility to make Galo a better place to work every day. It is important to understand that a culture is not imposed, but implemented. Our focus is always on moving forward, step by step, until we make Atlético the best place to work in Brazil,” says the Club’s CEO, Pedro Daniel.Since Atlético’s transformation into a football corporation (SAF), the Club has also been making changes to its people management and organizational structure. The renewed certification reinforces this process and recognizes the progress made in building a workplace based on trust, development, and appreciation for employees.“Our journey to make Galo a better place to work began two years ago. Last year, we achieved 80% participation in the workplace survey, and this year we increased that to 90%. This result shows our employees’ engagement and the importance of listening to those who experience the Club every day,” says Atlético’s Human Resources Manager, Sarah Lorentz. The increase in participation goes hand in hand with the rising trust score. In 2024, the first year of the current internal assessment initiative, survey participation was 54%. That figure rose to 80% in 2025 and reached 90% in this year’s assessment. In addition to recognizing the quality of the workplace, the certification helps strengthen the employer brand, attract and retain talent, and consolidate people management practices.“This project moves me because of the importance of this seal. We know we still have plenty of room to grow, and we will strive for more every day,” says the Club’s Vice President of Operations and Finance, Thiago Maia.About GPTWGreat Place to Work (GPTW) is a global consultancy operating in more than 90 countries that recognizes organizations offering outstanding workplace environments.
