Based on Nakos’ reporting, Brown’s far from the highest-paid passer in the nation, as Miami’s Darian Mensah will reportedly make more than $6 million, incentives included, but Brown’s price tag was still among the highest.Other quarterbacks Nakos said were making a similar total included Michigan’s Bryce Underwood, Notre Dame’s CJ Carr and Texas A&M’s Marcel Reed. There were multiple standouts who are set to make less, with Archie Manning, Julian Sayin and LaNorris Sellers among them.Brown has one season of eligibility remaining, coming off the best campaign of his four-year career.
