The attackers started dropping to pull the defenders forward and players like Alphonso Davies could fly into the open space.Per usual, Bayern conceded a mentally lazy goal then responded quickly with two goals in the next five minutes. This has become a trademark mentality under Vincent Kompany.The VAR offside call on Michael Olise’s goal was a bit harsh.Given the last minute nature of Fandango’s streaming deal, the in-game coverage was decent. Adding a tactical stream is pretty cool. My main complaint is that the telecast view is blurrier than ESPN’s cameras, but the close-up cameras were fine. It is possible that the rain played a role but it felt like an equipment issue. From a software standpoint, there were various reports of the app not being available or working on certain devices.
