The Texas A&M softball program has secured a commitment from Houston outfielder Jordee Wilkins, a transfer who announced the move on social media this week. Wilkins spent the last three seasons with the Cougars, appearing in 119 games and earning 64 starts. Over her Houston tenure, she posted a career batting average of .292, collected 16 doubles, drove in 27 runs, and scored 64 runs.
As a true freshman in 2024, Wilkins started 13 games, laying the groundwork for a breakout sophomore year in 2025. That season, she hit an impressive .336 with 13 doubles, 22 RBIs, and 43 runs scored. Her performance helped her to reach a .466 on-base percentage and a .586 slugging percentage, while starting all 45 games in center field.
Her momentum did not carry into 2026, as Wilkins found herself out of the starting lineup. She appeared in 37 games but started only six, finishing the year with a .250 batting average on 4-for-24 hitting, along with one walk and four strikeouts.
Texas A&M has been active in the transfer portal this offseason, adding five players to the roster in an effort to build on last year’s 38-19 record and a College Station Regional appearance. The Aggies’ class is led by pitcher Madison Azura, who is ranked as the No. 9 portal prospect in the country, highlighting the program’s intent to strengthen its depth and competitiveness.
