His numbers weren’t all that impressive, just three goals and three assists on the season, but he certainly showed that he could hold his own in that role and he did have a few moments where he popped a bit more than his scoring totals would imply.Resendes’s biggest moment of his freshman campaign came in a game in early November, when he scored his first collegiate goal with just 90 seconds left on the clock to give BC a 2-1 over Vermont. He’s a maniac on the ice, there’s no way to watch him play and at the very least not come away impressed with his motor. I don’t know if he has the kind of skill to ever have him play above a third or fourth line role, but he can absolutely be a difference maker in that position. I think he’ll score a bit more this year and I think he’ll continue to be incredibly noticeable even when he’s not putting the puck in the net as he moves into his sophomore season.
